Rhodes Adventure Park
Nestled inside the area of the artificial lake of Apolakkia, it is the perfect place not only for those who seek tranquility but those willing to do the most fun adventure activities. The lake was initially constructed for irrigation purposes but soon became a wetland area for leisurely pursuits. Today, visitors can choose from archery, kayaking, SUP, zip-lining, kids climbing and paddle bike or try a unique aerial experience over the lake with a flying fox. All activities are suitable for both kids and adults and are a great way to challenge yourselves while discovering new skills!

Trekking at Monolithos Castle
A great spot for mountain lovers would be Monolithos Village! Rocky and picturesque, on top of Mount Akramitis, it offers an incomparable sense of freedom and connection with nature! Lying 3km outside of town stands the 15th-century Monolithos Castle, the most alluring part of the area! It stands 236 meters above sea level on a volcanic rock.

At 1215 meters, it is the tallest mountain in the island from which you can breathe in the fresh air, as well as the stunning beauty of Rhodes. The mountain is a Natural Heritage Site protected by Natura 2000, hosting rich and diverse fauna and flora! Visitors can discover rare plant species, such as the paeonia Rhodian & orchids, as well as prominent animals of the area, like deer, the Rhodian badger, foxes, hares, hedgehogs and numerous wild birds, including partridges.
At the top of the mountain, the main sights include the ruins of the Zeus Temple and a watchtower.
